For a lot of us when we were kids, counting down to the holidays with advent calendars was a HUGE deal. Now that we are grown up, how about a few fun beauty advent calendars?

Thinking back on those calendars, some kids made paper chains, ripping off each day with way too much gusto. Others slashed the days off of a calendar with their favorite Sharpie. They were usually filled with small plastic toys or pieces of candy that were just enough to fight the holiday anticipation.
